Things Have Been Okay A young couple were becoming anxious about their four?year?old son, who had not yet talked. They took him to doctors, but the doctors found nothing wrong with him. Then one morning at breakfast the boy suddenly shouted, “Mom, the toast is burned.”
“You talked! You talked!” shouted his mother. “I’m so happy! But why has it taken this long?”
“Well, up till now,” said the boy, “things have been okay.”
      Kids Say It All
Finding one of her students making faces at others on the playground, Ms. Smith stopped to gently stop the child.
Smiling sweetly, the Sunday School teacher said, “Bobby, when I was a child I was told that if I made ugly faces, my face would freeze and stay like that.”
Bobby looked up and replied, “Well, Ms. Smith, you can’t say you weren’t warned.”
