3月20日至4月30日，“意大利畫家眼中的杭州”油画作品展在杭州国大·恒庐美术馆展出。
2011年5月7日，在杭州六公园的马可·波罗塑像之下，“百位意大利画家画杭州活动”正式启动。之后的一年时间里，共有101位意大利艺术家先后踏上了这片土地。他们追随马可·波罗的足迹，深入杭州的大街小巷，徜徉在杭州的自然风光中，感受杭州文化的多种形态。本次展览展出的70余件作品，正是“百位意大利画家画杭州活动”中最具代表性的作品。
An oil painting exhibition called Hangzhou in the Eyes of Italian Artists was held at Henglu Art Museum in Hangzhou from March 20 to April 30. The exhibition displayed the results of a cultural exchange program initiated in Hangzhou on May 7， 2011.
The program was unveiled in front of a stately statue of Marco Polo on the lakeside of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Within the following 365 days spanning 2011 and 2012， 101 artists from Italy visited Hangzhou in different times. They were there to see the city which Marco Polo had explored centuries ago and to paint their experiences and impressions of the city. They strolled in lanes and streets of the city， which was praised by Marco Polo in his famous travelogue， enjoyed the city’s scenic beauty and made sense of the diversity of the city’s culture. On display at the exhibition in 2018 were over 70 oil paintings which were considered the most representative impressions of the journey taken by the Italian artists.
