Susan has invited her family to Thanksgiving Dinner, but as her plates are not the best, Susan wants to buy new plates—one for each person at her Thanksgiving Dinner.
There’ll be a grandfather, a grandmother, two fathers, two mothers, four children, three grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, two sons, two daughters, one father-in-law, one motherin-law and a daughter-in-law.
Question: At least how many plates does Susan need to buy?
Note: Some members of her family are listed more than once (after all a father is also a son etc.).
Answer: Susan needs at least seven plates.
Why?
The grandfather is also a father and a father-in-law.
The grandmother is also a mother and a mother-in-law.
The father is also his parents’ son (and child).
The daughter-in-law is also a mother.
The grandson is also a brother and his parents’ son (and child).
The two granddaughters are also sisters and their parents’ daughters (and children).
So we have:

Grace的无名小筑

多彩高中
别人都说高中，高中，丰富多彩的高中。所以一直很期盼着上高中，但事实根本不是这样。我倒想说高中，高中，惨淡无光的高中。当然，这是我最初的想法，我现在已是高二，回想起高一的点点滴滴，还确实有些丰富多彩。
进校伊始，满心的喜悦，好奇以及紧张，还有决定要努力学习的奋斗之情，用生机勃勃的绿色来搭配是再好不过了。时间一久，渐渐厌倦了高中辛苦而繁忙的生活，和同学之间有时也会有些矛盾和摩擦，这些不开心的事全是黑黑的。虽然有些矛盾，但还是有了很多的好朋友，学习上互相帮助，互相鼓励。生活中闹在一起玩在一起，整天评着谁谁很帅气，给灰暗的高中生活带来了一点粉嫩。每次考完试，不管考得好不好，心情都是无比舒畅，就像天空的湛蓝，纯净和安逸。繁忙的学习后，好不容易获得的假期，就会和朋友们一起出去玩，哪怕只有半天时间，都会疯玩到忘记了时间，那时的我疯狂地将高中生活映得火红火红的。这么多的颜色，当然少不了最纯的白色，知道白色是什么吗？就是高中时期太累了，以至于我倒床就睡，连梦都没做到过，我想那时我的脑细胞肯定都停止了运行，什么都没出现过。那段时间，一片空白……
这就是高中丰富多彩的生活，虽累但也收获不小。以后，我会继续努力的！
